Hotel Continental - Rijeka

Stayed for one night, and honestly, how do you mess up a basic breakfast? The scrambled eggs were disgusting, and the lack of fresh fruits? Unforgivable in summer! And i expected a complimentary gesture for my disappointment, but alas, nothing. Can you believe it? I almost thought of leaving a good review, but just couldn't.

Possibly the best and real good stay for the business trip. An electronic key card, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels available in the standard double room. Located near a bus station.

Truly enjoyed our neat and compact rooms in this hotel.

Units on level 2. A shower, hairdryers, and towels was a plus. The property was in the center of the city.

The carpet in my room was dirty and littered with hair, quite off-putting. While the location was convenient for walking around, the air conditioning unit emitted a strange smell was good. The staff were amiable, but their response to my concerns about cleanliness left much to be desired. I appreciated the free parking nearby, though accessing it was a hassle.

Had nice stay for the business trip, the staff were absolutely perfect, location was excellent in calm area close to the Rijeka downtown. Everything was great, clean room with a balcony.

The furniture looked quite old, with uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. Shower space felt ridiculously small, and issues with hot and cold water made for frustrating bathing. The fruit selection at breakfast was disappointing, and the overall food variety seemed stagnant. Noise from nearby gatherings and traffic can disrupt sleep, so light sleepers may want to think twice.

Great location right on the river, clean and modern room, ample breakfast. We were able to snag one of the free parking spots.

The front desk staff could have been friendlier. Also, weekend guests should be prepared for crowds of teenagers (apparently harmless) loitering by the waterfront outside.

Very good food offered at a very attractive price at the hotel restaurant. Room was modern, clean and inviting.

The room had a nice view, yet the air conditioning noise was really annoying.

The staff were wonderful - from the front desk to the restaurant and those who cleaned our room, everyone was helpful and went out of their way for us. We used the spare blankets in the closet as extra pillow bolsters for reading in bed. The staff who cleaned our room noticed this and without asking, extra pillows were on our bed when it was remade. This is just one of many ways in which the staff care and went out of their way to be fo assistnace.

The location was perfect with everything just a walk away, and the breakfast buffet was great. My room was cozy and clean.

The hotel was so old and not comfortable, but clean. The hotel was not bad. But I felt the price was not reasonable. Wi-fi were available only in public space.

Everything was o.k.

The streets are very noisy, cars and buses all night long, crossing the bdrigdes infront of the hotel, metal sounds of the bridges. Some 100 teenagers having fun, drinking infront of the hotel.
